Microsoft Script Control is an ActiveX control which provides you with an easy way to make applications scriptable.
You can use this program to extend your application functionality using scripts, as it is done with macros. This control is targeted toward developers who want a quick way to incorporate basic script hosting support in their applications, but are willing to trade off performance.
You can create an application that runs any Microsoft ActiveX scripting engine, including Microsoft Visual Basic Scripting Edition and Microsoft JScript.
You simply combine an application`s object model with a scripting engine and create a scripting application. The application has the best of both worlds: the simplicity of the scripting language combined with the objects, methods, and properties of a more advanced, fully-featured specialized application. |
